Glaucoma NZ have now hosted numerous Glaucoma webinars.
These were presented live but now form a very valuable resource for people to learn more about this condition. They are presented by a number of different Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. There are a wide range of topics, from the simple such as ‘Questions I wished I had asked at my appointment’, through to future technologies, lifestyle factors and proactive glaucoma care and role of nutrition.
Who should watch these seminars? If you have a family history of glaucoma these will help improve your understanding of glaucoma. People who are on treatment to lower eye pressure can learn more about ongoing testing. And if your eyecare team has indicated they are watching you closely, or describing your as a ‘glaucoma suspect’, these are highly recommended.
