The starting point is an eye examination - a thorough check of your eyesight and the health of your eyes. Detailed testing gives us an understanding of how you use your eyes.

Examinations, tailored to your individual concerns, include:
• Vision assessment, including distance and near vision, binocular and colour vision
• Eye health assessment screening for cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration
• Children's vision assessment with age-appropriate techniques and equipment
• Fitting prescription contact lenses compatible with healthy eyes

When we have your prescription, we use Dispensing expertise and current lens technology to achieve clear, comfortable vision.

Beyond the traditional eye examination we have other diagnostic tests and tools at McDonald Adams.  Visual field testing, retinal photography and tomography (eye scans) help us conduct full glaucoma testing.

Our Optometrists Sally, Claire and Deanna are registered to use prescription medication to treat eye conditions such as uveitis and keratitis.
