Dry Eye Treatment

There are many home treatments for dry eye, but we also offer in practice appointments. For many people a dry eye treatment will set them on th epath to better management.

The first step is a video analysis of the tear film properties. Next we use heat goggles which remain on for 10 minutes moist heat. Next is exfoliating the lid margin where needed. The final step is expression of the meibomnian glands.

Treatment can be repeated at monhtly intervals as required, but with good daily home care the benefits can be sustained.
